Heubach anticorrosives

zinc phosphate ZP 10

The original white anticorrosive pigment based on zinc phosphate.

Heucophos
2nd generation
modified orthophosphates

The development of Heucophos ZPA, ZPO and ZMP set new standards in the anti-corrosive industry by doubling the performance of conventional zinc phosphates.

With an optimal balance between cost and performance, these products are still the most popular anti-corrosives in the trade.

Heucophos
3rd generation
modified polyphosphates

The search for chrome replacements in high-performance applications such as coil coatings and aircraft primers led to the development of the polyphosphate line, sold under the names Heucophos SAPP, SRPP, ZAPP and ZCPP.

Heubach's high-performance polyphosphates are amongst the most technically sophisticated anticorrosion inhibitors in today's market and are the preferred option whenever ultimate protection is required.

Heucophos
4th generation
wide-spectrum anticorrosives

With the introduction of Heucophos ZAMplus and ZCPplus, wide-spectrum applicability is again available to formulators of protective coatings.

Until now, wide-spectrum applicability had been the unique advantage of chromate pigments, but ZAM
plus and ZCPplus have been designed as wide-spectrum anticorrosives for application on both conventional and, in particular, modern resin systems.

Heucophos ZCP
plus deserves special attention for testing in combination with Heucorin RZ, as this is the first case where the structure of an inorganic inhibitor has been tailored to interact synergistically with an organic inhibitor.

Heucorin organic inhibitor

With "Sicorin" came the discovery of how organic compounds could be used to prevent corrosion. Initially, high costs restricted the use of Sicorin to high-tech applications.

This changed when Heubach took over "Sicorin" from BASF, renamed it Heucorin and discovered unique organic / inorganic synergies between Heucorin and Heucophos which prevented corrosion evan at low dosages.

This effect reduced formulation costs and paved the way for Heucorin to be used in main-stream applications. As a result, more and more formulators are using Heucorin to optimise the protective properties of their anti-corrosive coatings. Heucorin will play a key role in the protective coatings of the future.
