Heucosin colours are mixtures consisting of both organic and inorganic pigments and extenders which have been mainly developed for paints and coatings. Many grades are also suitable for the colouration of rigid PVC, or may have been designed for that use.

The pigment selection guarantees outstanding performance as regards light- and weather-fastness, resistance to migration, solvents and chemicals.

The colour range concentrates on frequently-used RAL shades, and these are available ex-stock. If the quantity required is sufficient, custom-matched shades can also be produced.

Heucosin pigments are not just conventional pigment mixes. The components are mixed in powder form and then milled in a three-step process whereby the pigment surfaces are mechanically bound to each other. By using this technique an exceptionally homogeneous mix can be produced.

Each batch produced is colorimetrically checked against a standard lot and adjusted, if necessary. In this way, colour shade variations in the different components is controlled.

In paints, tendencies to floating and flooding are minimal. Using Heucosin, the paint-maker can achieve completely even results with little effort.
